SEND Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work with two children in Year 1 who both have EHCP’s. The role of this TA is to support them in lessons and to deliver maths, literacy (including phonics), speech & language and occupational therapy interventions. This is a part time position for 18 hours (Wed – Fri) per week, term time only.

Applications are invited from interested parties who are:

  • supportive and nurturing
  • flexible and patient
  • able to follow instructions and also use their initiative
  • thrive as part of a friendly and dedicated team
  • preferably have experience of working in a school
  • Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent, in Maths and English)

Previous experience would be highly advantageous, but training will be provided. We offer a supportive working environment in pleasant surroundings with parking and hot meals available on-site.
