Support Staff

Julie is one of our longest serving members of staff, she is Site Manager of both the Infant and Junior school, but is based at the Junior school. Julie also runs breakfast club at the Junior school.

Works on both sites and looks after the non-financial administration including the Front Desk, Personnel and ICT. Hours: Mon to Thurs - 8h30 till 15h30.

Keeping an eye on all the figures, Pauline is the one who allows the school to run efficiently.

You can find Ruth smiling at you from the office. A few years ago Ruth came for a receptionist job at HT and ended up working at PD. She has uncanny knack of knowing every child and all of their needs and problems!

Charmaine works at the Junior School as the Morning Secretary on the front desk.

Sue works at the Junior School as the Afternoon Secretary on the front desk.

Donna works Tuesday-Friday.

Jane works 3 days a week in the office. We are so pleased to have her calm and caring approach to everyone she meets. Jane is our Admissions Secretary and is also Clerk to the Pewley Down Governors.

Sam is a member of the East Guildford Confederation Home School Link Worker team and is available to provide support for children, parents and carers. She is a link between home and school, and an ongoing contact as children move from school to school.

Louise works on a Friday and looks after the website.

Joan is our resident Scot and a one to one support assistant.

Penny is a one to one support assistant. She is the queen of the hand writing course, disseminating her knowledge to all our other handy hand writers.

Louise is a one to one support assistant.

Heather works with the year 5 teachers, assisting and supporting children with literacy and numeracy. She worked as a qualified teacher, and then after gaining further qualifications, worked privately as a Special Educational Needs therapist, in South Africa.

Having spent the last year in Year 2, Rachel now joins the Year 6 team.

Sarah is co-ordinator of PPA cookery across all the years and also teaches cookery skills to years 5&6.

Linda works with Tracey in the Year 3 and 4 Group Room.

Kay helps out the SEN department with her Speech and Language skills.

Tina works with Lynn in the year 5 and 6 group room.

Iris is responsible for all the lovely food at Pewley Down.

Carole works at the Junior site.

Gill is responsible for all the lovely food at the Junior school.

Jo cooks all the lovely food at the Junior school.

Carol works as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Year 6.
